The Hmong Civic Leadership Program is a 9-month program that combines leadership training, public servant speakers, networking, and completing a civic leadership project. If you are interested in learning more about the issues in your community, how you can help solve or be part of the solution, and what it takes to be an influential civic leader, this program is for you.

2/10, 2/24, 3/9, 3/23, 4/6, 4/20, 5/4 , 5/18


All training sessions are from 9 am - 12 pm

Eligibility

  • Interested in civic leadership

  • Committed to the 9-month program

  • Be willing to complete a civic leadership project

  • Have own transportation to the in-person training

Learning Objectives

  • Learn the qualities of an effective civic leader and what it takes to be a resilient civic leader

  • Develop leadership skills and empowerment

  • Learn to navigate and influence systems change

  • Understand the issues in your community

  • Learn to advocate for issues you care about

  • Network, build relationships and connect with community leaders and public servants
